| Hello there, I just downloaded the Diablo 3 Starter Edition, I want to try the game out and I'm probably going to buy it if I get it to run :P The game downloads smooth etc, installation seems to go without a problem. I click Play and the game launches, at least the splash screen from the RoS thingy. After that- Blackscreen. I have background music, and apparently some buttons, the sound of "scrolling over a button" comes as well. Too bad that I can't see that button or anything else that might be under this mysterious Cloth of Darkness over Diablo 3... Can anybody help me? I wanna play!! I tried re installing Diablo 3, the Battle Net launcher, both, and changing tabs, task manager, run as admin etc... nothing helped so far. | ||

| davidoffsky, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file?
