| I had a similar problem in WoW, tech support made me change the launcher from directx 11 to directx 9 because my card apparently didnt support 11, cant seem to find a place to change that in diablo 3.... might be unrelated to. Anyways, when I play on my laptop who has a much weaker graphics card, I never get this, yet when I play on this computer (graphic card nvidia gts 250), I randomly get a complete graphic crash where my screen turns black, then the driver recuperates and the game reloads... its causing me alot of frustration and I want to get this over with. There are no events in particular that happen when this occurs, it has happened to me in town, when fighting mobs, when travelling, in solo and multiplayer games... I tried to monitor some kind of special event that would be recurring... there isnt. How can I get this fixed? Oh and needless to say my drivers are up to date, I check them every week... and this has been happening for months now. | ||

| Gnaker, What you're experiencing is called a "TDR" error which stands for Timeout Detection and Recovery.
