| Shawdow, Please post your DXDIAG file so we can get more information about your computer. Here's a support article that will show you how to get the DXDIAG: Obtaining System Files Once you have the DXDIAG file, open it and copy/paste the entire file into your next reply. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Sunday through Thursday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? | ||

| SupStan, According to your DXDIAG, your video card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 640. The one that you linked above as your new card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. I checked the benchmarks, and your old GTX 260 and new GT 640 are actually pretty similar when their performance is compared. If there was a mix up and you were given a 640, but expected a 660, that will definitely be something you'll want to get exchanged. If you just made a mistake and linked the wrong card, then try the steps below. Benchmarks: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 NVIDIA GeForce GT 260 Let's try a different video driver to see if that helps. Uninstall the current driver by using a program called Driver Fusion. This program will ensure that all previous driver files are completely removed. Here's a link to the Driver Fusion download. Once there, click on the "Download From Treexy" button to download the free trial. ***Don't download the Premium version.*** 1. Run Driver Fusion. 2. Click on "Display" and select "Nvidia". 3. Click on "Delete". 4. You will be asked if you are sure if you want to delete the entries, click on "Yes". 5. Driver Fusion will do its job, but you may see a message saying that some entries could not be deleted, and it will then ask if you would like to take a look at premium benefits, click on "No". 6. Restart when asked do so. 7. Repeat the same steps for "PhysX" instead of "Display". Once those two are completely removed, go ahead and install the suggested driver. Here's a link for the new driver download: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/73213/en-us When you are going to install the driver I would like for you to select Custom Install > Graphic Driver only. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Sunday through Thursday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? | ||
