We haven't made any adjustments to the anniversary buff since it started, but I certainly know it can feel otherwise when you're on a streak of bad luck, though. I'm going to lock this thread to help prevent the spread of misinformation, and thank you for your understanding.

It's absolutely amazing how things can happen without anyone knowing when it comes to Blizzard changes... It's also amazing at how gullible people can be... Some of the phrases that strike me alarming are "You can *trust* me, I work for the government." Just because one of Blizzards "Community Managers" say it's true means it must be right? If they felt that the drop rate was breaking the game; nerfed it; but didn't want to lose face "so to speak"; they wouldn't tell some random forum operator. Executive decisions are ones made without anyones knowledge...

So back to the topic at hand; I too (Paragon 330) have noticed a huge change in droprate since the original release of the patch, my friends and I cleared *3* T6 rifts last night, and a total "2" legendaries dropped for the entire group... As where before the 100% increase was noticed immediately in lower torment difficulties... Everyone that was running a rift would see at least *1* legendary per run, not this joke of "2" out of (3)three separate runs for all *4* players...

Anyhow, my advice to Grimiku (Community Manager), is it might be easier to not reply to topics like this because by replying to them at all adds fuel to the fire due to websites like "Diablo Fans" where *Blue Trackers* are involved.

You're under the erroneous impression that there's process that can be skipped, or that a single individual can both make the call for this change and enact that change without anyone else's assistance. Applying hotfixes requires more than one individual, and includes a team. Folks are informed, e-mails are sent, and as community managers, we're involved in this process in order to provide appropriate communication.

These kinds of changes aren't the type we take lightly, and we make no efforts to "hide changes behind your back." If we had deemed it necessary to make such a change, it would have been communicated immediately, along with the philosophy behind that change.

Just as you had nothing to gain from re-posting information that amounts to little more than unnecessary fear mongering (aside from appropriate action taken per our Forum Guidelines), we have nothing to gain from attempting to hide major changes from our community.
