| I used to run the game very smoothly til about maybe 2-3 weeks ago I've been having terrible FPS drops within a few minutes of game play. I've cleaned out my computer, re-installed the game, updated Windows, updated graphic card drivers, and went through my selective start up and still the problem persists. Please help, what is really doing this to me? >.< | ||

| TanOutlaw, Let's start by collecting your dxdiag info so I can see if anything stands out. You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| TanOutlaw, Nothing looks wrong anywhere as far as your hardware/drivers are concerned. Your video card, being a little old, could have become clogged with dust, limiting the cooling efficiency which could possibly be causing it to throttle down performance wise, but that's just a guess. You said you cleaned out the computer but did you do the same for the video card's heatsink/fan assembly? It might help to know just how hot the video card and cpu are getting. Download and run HWMonitor from: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.24-setup.exe Now start the game and let it run several minutes. Then exit or alt-tab out and see what the highest temperature is that was reached for both the cpu and gpu. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| TanOutlaw, Your cpu is getting way too hot. I'd shut down the system, unplug it from the wall, open it up, and carefully inspect the cpu heatsink/fan assembly to make sure it's installed correctly. It should not be loose in any way. If, when using very slight pressure. you're able to twist it at all, it's not on there right. Have you removed and reinstalled the cpu fan recently? If so, did you apply a new coat of thermal paste after cleaning the old application off the cpu? _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| TanOutlaw, Make sure the fan on the cpu is still plugged into a motherboard connection and that it spins freely. You'll need to have power to the system to make sure though so be careful not to get anything caught in the fan blades. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
