| The game keeps crashing. I get 8DEE65C9-14D2-421E-AE9E-8547781A4906 when it happens. It started last night. Can happen in a rift, when starting the game, doing bounties, in town, there doesn't seem to be a pattern. Please help. | ||

| Sozay, All your symptoms here are pointing at a corrupted game installation. You could try running the Scan and Repair utility in the Desktop App but I'd rather you went straight to reinstalling the game first. If it continues having problems after that, we'll have to take a look at your hardware. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos [Post edited one time, last edit by Omrakos at May-8-2014 12:38 PM PDT (9 years ago)] | ||

| Sozay, Your crash information isn't conclusive at all when I look at it. One thing that does stand out possibly is that you're using a Belkin Nostromo pad I believe. You might try totally uninstalling it and any software that came with it as a test to see if it helps. Other than that, did you re-install yet? _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Sozay, If you received a BSOD just installing the game, there's an issue with your computer. Installing it is just copying and extracting info onto your hard drive. Based on all the symptoms you're having, I'd think you should consider reinstalling the operating system. I hesitate to recommend this as it can take a while and if you're not familiar with doing it, might be more than you can manage yourself. In addition, you'd first want to make sure you'd be able to re-install all of the programs you have installed now before wiping the current install. Any user data you need should also be backed up to removable storage first. If you'd rather not attempt this, I'll need to see your dxdiag info in order to see if you have the most recent drivers currently installed. You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Sozay, If you're having trouble doing any of the Windows Updates, I'd talk to the manufacturer first, but again, from your various issues, I think you're facing an OS reinstall and if the problems continue after that, getting the system checked back at the factory. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
