| Dexterity as a defensive stat sucks. I've known that since I've played monk since vanilla until about 3 days ago when I started playing DH. While monks complain about dodge (in general) and their lack of damage vs other classes, it seems DH should complain about their limited defensive skills that boost either armor or resistance. Monks have two great defensive passive skills that compensate dodge's inherent weakness: Seize the Initiative which allows them to have the highest armor in the game following the Strength classes, and One with Everything that gives them the highest resistance values next to Intelligence classes. But what do Demon Hunters get? Boar pet and Perfectionist don't give enough. What else I'm missing? I admire people who play DH. I now understand what they have to live with, that to cover this glaring weakness they have to rely on positioning and active dodging/evading to get away from harm's way. Aren't there other solutions without sacrificing your damage potential? | ||
