Had to just post since I was so elated here fellas. Been working my fire gear, ran a few rifts and been gunning hard for my cindercoat and low and behold there it is. Rolled with 3 sockets as well, and 18%. Not a bad start to the week ;) |

Wow, grats! Can kadala give one out? But I know farming 1h from her is a rip. The only items Kadala does not have a chance to produce are those that are found only in Torment difficulty or part of a class-specific set. Wand of Woh doesn't fall into either of those categories. ;) |

That is a true statement. I've seen multiple Chantodo's pieces from Kadala, among other class specific set items. Chantodo's doesn't count as part of those categories (though it sort of fits that description). By class-specific sets, I mean Firebird's or Vyr's as examples. I'm working on putting together a list of which items these are, just waiting on the fact checking pass. :) |

So she can give out the "cache only" legendarys too? Or did you forget to add that with class-specific set items? Ah, no she cannot! Good catch. If an item is cache-only, that's the only place it can be obtained from (such as Ring of Royal Grandeur). Any news on weapon categories being added like wands, 1h swords, daggers, 1h x-bow, etc? Kadala's decided that while she has no plan to stop pointing out your occasional paper weight purchases, she will pay more attention to the kinds of things her buyers would at least know how to use. In our next patch, Kadala will only give you items that you are able to equip, with a focus on class specific weapon type. This will not change how she generates Legendary items, as those have always been class targeted. This is only a change to the rare items Kadala produces. Same error in that list. Vyr's is not torment only, and Tal Rashas offhand can be gambled. My own documentation indicates that Vyr's should be Torment Only and Tal Rasha's shouldn't be obtainable from Kadala. If this isn't true, it's likely a bug to be passed on. I'll send that over to the appropriate folks to investigate. That said, below are Legendary and Set items that CANNOT be obtained via Kadala. Legendary and Set items not listed below should be included on her drop table. Torment Only Legendaries Sets
Items marked with * are class-specific, and cannot be equipped by other classes regardless of item type. Legendary Potions
Follower Legendaries Misc. Items Horadric Cache Only Act I
Act II Act III
Act IV Act IV Horadric Caches have a chance to drop Horadric Cache items from any Act. Act V Edit: Added some additional links. Thanks Droth! Edit 2.0: Removed Lut Socks, as we've verified they are not Torment-Only, nor intended to be. [Post edited two times, last edit by Nevalistis at April-29-2014 10:55 AM PDT (10 years ago)] |

Fear not, Death Maiden, for the almighty Google is thine friend. <3 It seems they're not populating in our search engine then. I'll be sure to pass that along. |

Are these "Misc" items a new addition to the torment only list? What is the current status of shard of hate now? Is it torment only and can it be obtained via kadala? Any blue confirmation here would be fine. There's a few oddities on this list (Shard of Hate and Lut Socks) that I'm receiving wildly differing reports on. I'm in a bit earlier than other folks, so as soon as I have more information, I'll be back to clarify. Just waiting on some investigations to complete, which might take some time. :) I got a Chantodo's from her. Does this not count as class specific? It does not! Only items denoted in the original list with an asterisk (*) are considered class-specific. I know that can be a bit confusing, but by class-specific we're referring to items that, regardless of their item type, can only be equipped by a single class. Chantodo's is a bit of an oddity in that it's a set that, because of its item types, can only be equipped by one class. Only some of the new level 70 class sets actually fall into this category. Generic weapons can be equally as desirable. Swords, spears, and axes don't belong to any specific class. Barbs have mighty weps, monks have fists and daibos, and crusaders have maces. Are you telling me non class specific weps are going to be RARER than what's catered to your class? It's just a strange design choice. I respectfully disagree with it. I appreciate your honest feedback, and will be passing it along. Thanks for being both polite and eloquent! |

Just to make sure Nevalistis didn't forget about us... *knock knock* Neva :D Are you there? :D I haven't! There were just a boatload of tests and retests to run, and those take quite a bit of time (especially in between QA and Development's regular tasks). I was also out sick a little earlier this week, but I'm now back and healthy. <3 I was able to verify that Lut Socks are not considered Torment-Only Legendaries, and I've removed them from the original post as a result. Thanks to everyone for reporting it! It looks like this was some very old information from when Lut Socks were an "unofficial" part of the Might of the Earth set, and it carried over sneakily into the document I wound up referencing. My apologies for any confusion! However, the rest of that list should be accurate. I've had it checked, double checked, and triple checked. We've tested until we're blue in the face (pun totally intended), and we've been unable to replicate generating the items on this list from Kadala. It's possible some of the items being reported came from another source. Should you come across an anomaly, I suppose you should consider buying flowers for Kadala for her kindness. ;P As for now, we cannot verify that there's any bug going on with her loot table or the items she's generating. |
