| It was called "something" passage way. It was one gargantuanly (<-- word?) long tunnel. No turns. No doors. No traps. No "going the wrong way". Just you, a few hundred bad guys, a dozen or so elite packs and only one way to go. I'm not sure if there's a size limit to D3 maps but I'm pretty sure the devs hit the dimension limit on this one. It... was... awesome. Kudos to blizzard. You need to do more of these freaky weird map levels. Gave me the old D1 tinglies with the randomness. | ||

| I haven't come across a single long corridor in a Rift yet, but that sounds like it would be very cool. Unless, it was packed full of Savage Beast, Fallen Maniacs, and Blood Clan Occultist, and then it sounds dangerous. I think it's good to share some of the fun highlights that Rifts offer. Their completely random nature means there can be a lot of fun and unexpected moments, and I'd love to hear more about about them. What cool or unexpected things have you found in Rifts? | ||

How about Anarchs and Corrupted Angels? Because that's what the long hallway I was in was full of... That sounds like it was a hell of a Rift. Those two baked in abilities would likely make any Elites or Champions a definite challenge in a hallway where all you can really do is run to and from. Was pleasantly surprised to enter a rift portal last week and end up in whimsyshire for a level. Nothing of note dropped but the color palette really jumps out when you're not expecting it. Do you remember what monsters you were fighting in there? Back in closed beta I found a Nephalem Rift Whimsyshire level that was populated by mostly Act III monsters, and that was kind of strange. Especially because it was cast in dense fog and dimly lit. | ||
