| Hey guys I have been having an issue lately with D3 that just started recently. I have been messing around lately with the starter edition and I played it for a good 2 or 3 days and then I upgraded my video card (Nvidia Geforce GTX 650) driver to the most current one, because I had been running on the generic driver that windows uses because I was having issues getting my driver to update. Anyways ever since I have updated my driver when I run D3 is says my video card isn't supported which I know it is because its on the supported video card list. It took me 2 weeks of trial and error and installing drivers in safe mode just to get my driver to finally update from the driver it was using from 2012 which was really effecting my performance. I have tried clicking play anyway, aswell as x-ing out of the window but all that happens is the diablo 3 reapers image shows in the center of my screen and then battle.net app says playing now and nothing else happens. In my task manager I have a Diablo III.exe in there but the game never actually opens up for me, and I can't figure out how to fix this issue so I can purchase the full game and start playing, sorry for the wall of text and thanks! | ||

| Boodhist, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Boodhist, DDraw Status: Not Available D3D Status: Not Available AGP Status: Not Available This is why games aren't working right now for you. These lines should all be indicating they're enabled. Usually, it's just a matter of reinstalling the video drivers to resolve it so let's give that a try first. http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/73780/en-us Before installing them though, I'd recommend you run Windows Update a few times until you've updated to Service pack 1 and received all of the fixes Microsoft suggests you need. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
