| Possible [FIX]-Battle.net app has stopped working(1) | Category: Technical SupportOctober-13-2014 6:36 AM PDT (8 years ago) ![]() | |
| Several people lately have had an issue with their battlenet launcher instantly crashing on startup. As soon as the app is started up, windows gives the error message: Battle.net app has stopped working. After clicking "ok" the app is closed. What fixed it for me was to uninstall a program called "lightspark". I'm not sure where this program came from, but i have no recollection of installing it manually, must have come with another program or software update. You can find a list of programs by opening the "control panel". After that click on "programs" and then "programs and features". This will open a list of installed programs. In this list, find the program called lightspark. Simply rightclick it and uninstall/remove. After removing lightspark, my launcher worked just fine again. Hope this helped! | ||
