| Screenshot of said corruption/graphic artifacts http://i1.minus.com/iBbnJN4HKoi5k.jpg Whats causing this graphic glitch on low end PCs? The card is a Radeon 2900 but all drivers are up to date. Even tried disabling Catalyst AI. OS is Windows 7 64bit Seems to only glitch up when you actually approach the area. Once you're right next to it, the artifacts just go away. Could be just the effects of an old card (cant have two current standards gaming PCs in the house lol), but maybe not since its not like the effect is permanent. | ||

You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? | Teknoman, Could you see if setting the Hardware Class in your D3Prefs.txt file value down to 1 or 2 makes a difference? Currently it's at 3. | Teknoman, Could you try resetting your Catalyst Control Center settings back to the factory defaults? 1. Right click on your desktop, open up Catalyst Control Center. 2. If you do not have Advanced options to begin with, make that happen. 3. In the upper right hand corner of the window, go to Options. (newer versions of CCC will have a Preferences selection instead) 4. Go down to Preferences. (skip if you're already there) 5. Select Restore Factory Defaults. 6.
