| I'm obviously aware there is an xpac launching shortly but that's no excuse for an unplayable experience. Especially a day before the launch.....I can't imagine how poorly this will be when it does. I've exhausted all avenues of troubleshooting on my end and the only program running like !@#$ is Diablo. I'm lucky if I get 5 minutes of play time before a crash. A solid and specific explanation would be appreciated. | ||

| Corak, Let's try running a pathping of your connection to see what the shows us. For the most accurate results, try running the pathping when the connection issue that you are experiencing is at its worst. Here's a support article that will help with that: Running A Pathping Test Once you have the pathping, go ahead and post it into your next reply. ***The pathping report is two parts. Once you get to where it says, "Computing statistics for X amount of seconds, you will want to wait about 10 minutes before the second part of the report is complete.*** ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? | ||

It looks like your connection is pretty unstable at the moment. If you look at the numbers that I highlighted, the connection is losing data at hops 1 through 6. All those hops are part of the Comcast network. You are going to want to contact them so that they can look into the cause of the packet loss. I also noticed a 5% data loss in your home network, so that could be contributing to the data loss seen in the hops after that. That is also something that Comcast will need to look at. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? | ||

| Corak, When you connect to a website, the connection takes a certain path to get to the website that you are trying to connect to. For example, the path that the connection takes to get to youtube.com might not be the same path that the connection takes to get to yahoo.com. Like I pointed out before, your connection is losing data when it reaches certain servers in the path it's taking to reach our servers. If you are not seeing problems on other sites, it's most likely because the connection is not taking the same problematic path. Also, keep in mind that online games require a stable connection. Any instability in the connection can lead to increased latency and/or disconnects. The symptoms of an unstable connection may not stand out as much when connecting to other sites since the amount of data being transferred does not compare to that of an online game. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? | ||
