| Greetings fellow Hackers and Slayers, the game did non run properly from the first day on on my old System. My monitor kept shutting down while playing for some seconds ending an a black screen (the game did not freeze, sound for example was still hearable). I tried a lot of tweaks and play now with an old NIVIDA Driver from 2011 plus disabled graphical effects of Windows (Desktop-Effects etc.). No vertical sync, no min/max FPS settings. Now I could play for hours without any problem if I do not enter the town/HQ of the recent act. I play as Wizard and fight hundreds of enemies with highest graphic settings an have about 50 FPS. As soon as I enter the town, my Screen starts to go black again for seconds and sometimes the game freezes entirely. If I leave the town in the same session, the problem vanishes. If I go back - same problem. When I start a new session i can stay in the town for ever without any problems, or performance issues. Does anyone have any idea, what the source of this problem could be? What does Diablo 3 in the background, while in town? --------------------- Win 7 SP 1 some AMD Dual core 4 GB GTS 250 | ||
