| I'm wondering how to set it to use the scroll wheel to scroll through skills instead of having to manually press the assigned hotkey?? Like it was before d3 was released. I know that this isn't the place for d2 questions, but I've spent thousands of hours on d3, already bought the digital deluxe version of RoS and am doing d2 now cuz d3 is excruciatingly boring atm. | ||

| AluminumTray, I answered you in the other forum Gungnir posted about but I'll repeat my answer here in case anyone else comes across the problem. If you are using Windows Vista/7/8/8.1 and the mouse wheel is not working to scroll through your characters skills, please try the following work around: 1. Right click on the Diablo2 shortcut 2. Select Properties from the popup menu 3. Click the Compatibility tab on the Properties window 4. Check the box that says "Run program in compatibility mode for XP SP3" 5. Click Apply, then Okay 6. Start up Diablo2 and try the scroll wheel once again. You should now be able to map the Select Previous Skill and Select Next Skill buttons to Mouse Wheel Up and Mouse Wheel Down in the Configure Controls screen in-game. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| AluminumTray, D2VidTst is a PC executable app that's in your Diablo II game folder. Rather than running that, let's try running the game in windowed mode which will force the game to run in Direct Draw. To play Diablo II: Lord of Destruction in windowed mode: Right click on the Diablo II: Lord of Destruction shortcut and choose properties. In the target box after the last quotation, press the space bar once and type in -w Your target line should look something like "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w When you start the game, the game should now be in a window. If you don't want it any more, you will have to exit out of the game and delete the -w from the shortcut. Make sure that you have a space between the .exe" and the -w. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
