| Ever since the last patch, after playing game for 60-90 minutes, I get a low memory notice. So I alt-tab out of the game, start any other program to clear the memory, then go back to the game. This has never happened before the last patch. I am playing on fairly new Toshiba Qosimo laptop with: i7-4700MQ quadcore@2.4 8 gigs RAM NVIDIA GTX770-M 2 gigs RAM Windows 8.1 any help would be appreciated | ||

| Doc , What resolution do you have the desktop and game set to use? There's a Windows 8.1 memory leak issue that can occur if you have them set differently. | Doc, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? | Doc, These steps should work for you to get the dxdiag app opened: 1. Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard 2. You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen 3. Type dxdiag in the text field 4. Click OK 5. If your computer has a 64-bit version of Windows, click the button Run 64-bit DXDIAG 6. | Doc, I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. In searching the net, it appears to be a problem with either Windows 8 or Intel's video drivers or a combination of both. The issue is happening for just about anything running full screen as a search will show. Running in windowed mode should therefore be a workaround until it's addressed. | Doc, There's no harm in trying really. I just did with Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and Diablo III and it didn't cause any problems, With Hearthstone and World of Warcraft, Agent,exe also terminated but it stayed running with Diablo III but that shouldn't be involved with the issue at hand.
