Since the patch for RoS my game has become hazy and I can't seem to figure out which settings I need to change to fix it. The background gets blurry whenever I move and there seems to be a constant haze over my screen. It is giving me headaches to the point I am having am issue playing.

Please Help~

Dar,

Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder.

Dar ,

There's a couple of things I'd try.

First, change your in-game refresh rate to 60Hz to match the native rate of your monitor.

Monitor Model: DELL E198WFP
Monitor Id: DELF005
Native Mode: 1440 x 900(p) (59.887Hz)

You can edit this line in the D3prefs.txt file to accomplish that

DisplayModeRefreshRate "75"

Second, you can try disabling the LowFX option in game and enabling the High setting for all teh Quality options, mainly to see if your issue is affected. Note that doing this may impact performance.

Lastly, enable anti-aliasing in-game and make sure any options to over ride the game setting for this in the Catalyst Control Center is disabled.

Resetting the CCC to default settings might help too.

1. Right click on your desktop, open up Catalyst Control Center.
2. If you do not have Advanced options to begin with, make that happen.
3. In the upper right hand corner of the window, go to Options. (newer versions of CCC will have a Preferences selection instead)
4. Go down to Preferences. (skip if you're already there)
5. Select Restore Factory Defaults.
