| I just downloaded this patch 2.0.2 and when i start the game it's a black screen, with the music playing, and the mouse cursor is there. I have tried waiting to see if it finally shows, but nothing ever does. Is there a solution to this issue, am I the only one experiencing this? | ||

You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? | st41n3r, Could you try setting the game to run in windowed mode and see if it starts properly? You can do that from outside the game by editing the D3prefs.txt file. | HowlinWulf, You won't have the file unless the game has been installed and run at least once which creates it. It may just be a typo but in your path description, you have "Documents" listed. It should be "My Documents".
