Diablo 3 worked perfectly fine on my computer, before today. For some reason, after the patch i couldn't start up my diablo 3 patch 2.01, whenever i start it up the game doesn't show up. it's just shows a black, windows dosbox like emptyness with my mouse before glitching out and closing down.

Nickzombie17,

Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder.

Nickzombie17,

Could you try going into your Nvidia Control Panel and creating a game profile for Hearthstone that uses your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760M exclusively? The game isn't always recognized on Optimus equipped laptops like yours to use the faster card and instead, it defaults to the slower integrated video which can cause issues like this.
