| There are a few specific areas which have terrible performance issues, the worst being Rakkis Crossing, followed by Core of Arreat and parts of Act 4. I get 60fps rock solid throughout 99% of the game even in 4 player co-op, however I will drop down to single digit fps every time I'm in Rakkis Crossing, this obviously makes doing Rifts and Bounties a lot less enjoyable when I end up in one of the problem zones. A quick Google search will bring up countless threads dating back months, even years regarding performance issues specifically at Rakkis Crossing. This is not a hardware issue, but a game issue, something is just very wrong with the areas I mentioned earlier and I'm sure there's a common thread between them that is the root of the problem. | ||

| MrH, Do you have issues on Rakkis Crossing when playing solo? Your system is maybe just a little better than what I use at home and I don't have any issues there but I always play solo or with at most two other players and even then, I'm fine. Though one friend I play with experiences it occasionally. His system is quite a bit faster than mine which is odd. He currently has a GTX 780 Ti while I use a pair of GTX 670s in SLI. He has two 780 Tis and was using SLI as well earlier but removed one as his room was getting too hot. He experiences the problem with either configuration. He's on Windows 8.1 and I'm on Windows 7. He's using a 3770K and I have a 2600K. We both use SSDs. I have a pair of Vertex 3s in Raid 0 and he has a Samsung 840 EVO. I use on-board sound with sound channels set to 32 and I'm not sure what he has right now. I'm trying to get a hold of a GTX 780 or 780 Ti to play around with but haven't managed to get one yet. If you get it to happen solo and think you can give me reproducible steps, I'd be happy to look at it. Our QA Team has looked at it but have been unable to reproduce it in-house. Earlier forum reports from users indicate using a lower sound channel # (Med quality) of 64 or lower helps. I believe this mainly works for those with integrated sound with higher performance video cards. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
