| Probably too late to change course now but requiring something that is still in beta in order to play anything is not a good idea. For example: Anyone who is experiencing the BDA "authenticating" bug in SC2 can either play HS (BDA required to play) or SC2 (BDA cannot be used), and therefore, obviously not both. The problems with the beta BDA preclude the ability to play both without issue. And soon, Diablo 3 will be part of the problem. Granted there are workarounds to the above issues. However, it would be one thing if the BDA was in full release and it was mandatory everywhere at all times, and no one had any choice. But being selectively mandatory for some games just opens up to the issue of 1) it's in beta and will likely have issues, 2) despite this, the beta BDA is being forced on users who would otherwise have had the option to not use it and not be forced into the beta BDA's problems. If you've tried to use the app in the past but experienced trouble, you will need try to resolve any issues ahead of time or you'll be unable to play when the patch hits. All well and good, but what if the issue is with the BDA and the games is interacts with? Something the users can do nothing about? Anyway, just my thoughts on the topic! | ||

| Leviathan , I understand your concerns but StarCraft II and World of Warcraft will both be required to use the Battle.net Desktop App eventually as well. The time frame for those games has not yet been made available, but they're coming soon. We want people having issues to post about them so the developers can make sure the bugs are ironed out.
