| I am thinking to get the Digital CE but there are few things that actually prevent me from doing so. First of all, the current internet service that I am using has a bandwidth/quota limit which it capped at 20GB. Yeah, I know it was rather pathetic for the modern era, but it did existed, and I am one of the users. So I wonder, how big would be the files that I am going to download it once I purchase the digital CE version? If it consuming too much of my quota, I may just skipped it and get a box set, and this leads to second question. My second question is, do the Blizzard release the whole game one week earlier for downloading before the official date release? I am asking this because I am thinking to ask my friend to download the whole file for me and having him to pass the entire game file thru DVD to me, so I can just install it before the game official releases to play. I simply have no patience to wait for him to deliver the DVD when everyone is playing it on the official date. That's how desperate I am. I hope CM understands what I am trying to say here. English isn't my main tongue. | ||

Yes, they usually put most, if not all of it out before the game goes live. This is done in a patch about a week or two beforehand so there are only minor updates on game day. Your solution is perfect. Have your friend download everything then copy his Program Files > Diablo 3 directory to your PC in the same location. All you do from there is run the launcher. No need to install further that I know of. There may be some game day patches, but they should be small compared to the main download at 2.0.1 patch time! QFT - you can copy the Diablo III folder from your friend's computer via DVD.
