| UncleFester, I think you may be confused by what the term "apps" really means. In any case, we're moving to a system where all of our games are going to be unified and require the use of the desktop app client to launch. It won't be optional. If you're having trouble now running the client, we need to get that straightened out for you before the requirement reaches the game you're playing. What seems to be the exact problem you're having with the desktop app? | UncleFester , "App" is just short for "application". Any program you run is an application. If you use Windows 8, you shouldn't be having any problems.
