| You guys probably think I am going to ramble on about how the game is !@#$ and that I am not going to play again blah blah blah! Well what I have to say here today is nothing about that. What I have to say is information that I think is pretty much 100% true and I thought I would share it with the lovely community of Diablo III. Why did the Dev's fail us? Believe it or not, the Dev's did not actually fail us, well in a way they did but its abit like what they did with the original Diablo 3. They kept on developing something that was just going to end up bad, abit like when you build a house on mud... eventually it is going to fall apart. Another words when they started making Diablo III they were building the game off a bad root which grew out of hand before they realized (they obviously realized when it was late into production I guess around late 2009). and it was too late to make any changes and go back.... WITH ROS they kind of had something really nice then decided to add a bad root into the mix and it turned out absolute not good! :P Anyway I personally think this is what happened to Diablo ROS... for example in the D3 ROS announcement Josh Mosqueira showed a picture of a level 70 fist weapon that had 3000 damage on it called 'Jawbreaker'. You guys are probably wondering what the hell does this have to do with anything? Well actually it does because you see 3k damage there? well on live you get around 2000 DPS - 2400 DPS (abouts). Now this is a very significant damage squish and I hope you can see why this is a problem. They were late into the making of ROS and based all of the new class set items around these damage numbers so when they squished it they overlooked or just never thought how it was going to effect play-ability in T6. Diablo ROS brought us good but the Dev's themeselves killed it because lets face the music - They don't play the game themselves obviously. They just see the top dollar in the game and how much hype it had and never thought about how the players would react and quite frankly did not give a crap. BUT this does not mean they won't change this IN THERE OWN TIME. It seems pretty obvious to me that over the last few patches it seems that Blizzard have been scaling and trying to get the sets and legendary items to actually face up to be T6 usable. I am pretty impressed that they are fixing it and not just sitting there looking at the copies being sold as I am typing this. Thanks for taking a read at this giant wall of text hahaha, I feel a guiness book of records coming hahaha :P any comments would be appreciated and I will answer all. | ||
