| So i used to be very hardcore when the game was released. I have 2 accounts which have around $250 on both of them earned from selling through the RMAH, I always had a problem moving the funds to paypal though, I always got a message about my phone being prepaid and it would never allow me to cash out. I havent played in over a year, but i always thought i might come back at some point (expansion), and figured i'd leave it & use it later, or cashout once i got a different phone. I recently found out the D3 auction house is closing, and do not want to forfiet my money. I have no idea why the type my phone i own has anything to do with them paying me the money I have in the auction house. Kinda sounds like Blizzard sees all this money left on inactive accounts, and thier looking for a way to keep it. That's my initial thoughts because if i didn't find out the AH was closing, i'd of probably lost it. Anyways, i just got a few questions! What happens to the money if I leave it there when the AH closes? Is it really nessesary for me to get a new phone, & why does my phone even matter? | ||

| Echoing what was stated here previously; the Battle.net Balance will remain on the account even after the Diablo Auction House closes and will be available to be used for a variety of goods we offer through the digital store. In regards to the second question, only contract phones are able to be used in conjunction with the SMS Protect system. For more information about that, please check our SMS Protect support article which offers more specific details. | ||
