Range Character's And Targeting.(1)Category: ConsoleDecember-16-2013 8:57 AM PST (9 years ago) Go to Blizzard forum post
So generally I don't play anything other than Melee, and i am a Barb all day, But i was trying out the WD and the DH and i noticed that it is alot harder to target the enemy that i want to tarket, and that they kinda just shoot in any direction they want to.

So my guestion is if anyone cal help on that, Is there an easy way to target who i want, or to aim in the particular direction i want to fire, without moving my entire character and hoping i am facing the exact direction i want.

It' seems to be a little bit of a flaw in my mind, usually a game like this you would aim more percisely with the right stick but thats for the dodge roll...

So if anyone can help on that just let me know what your experiances on that are or whatever.

Thank You.

(By The Way, I Play On The XBOX)

Thanks I'll have to look into that whole LB & LT thing to see if it works. Also yeah i noticed that the Rapid fire is a cripe shoot when it comes to targeting.

Yeah i seem to be up close and personal so i can have a better chance at hitting what i want first, and keep wishing that i had a mouse lol.

Thanks Again for the Comments.

I think getting into the habit of using your target lock (LT on Xbox) will go a long way to making combat feel comfortable and fluid when you're at long range. You'll be able to quickly see what you're aiming at by looking for the colored arrow that appears over your target when you're holding that button down. Personally, I felt like my ranged combat was a little clunky until I got used to target locking, so I can definitely sympathize.
