| hey all i have a major prob...i bought diablo III when it was relesed a phy one with case map and things...with dvd...standard edition...all was fine i stoped playing and now few y later i wana play agian...BUT i forgot my pass...and it say my acc was blocked...so i cantreset pass cuz it asks me my name and surname...aaaaaand i cant remeber that either...cuz i never use my real name and things when making acc...so i have my copy my authorization code on it and everything and my e mail...so...what can i do to get my diablo back i rly wana play and get new update but...this is killing me | ||

I'm not going to address all of your points here (although I can assure you that they have been read) but when someone tries to gain access to an account (through a password reset, for example) we need to make sure they are who they say they are. When someone 'can't remember' their own name (this is how it appears to Battle.net) it instantly raises concerns in this regard and so we have to take extra precautions from that point on, including ID submission and other ownership verification procedures. Now, we completely understand that some of these steps are somewhat inconvenient and may appear 'unnecessary' to some. We're actually working on smoothing out the entire process to make it easier for players who find themselves in a situation like yours. However, we will never compromise when it comes to the security of our player's accounts. We're pretty good at this now; we have a lot of experience and while we will continue to listen to your feedback and iterate on the user experience as a whole, the security of your account will come before anything else.
