| Hey everyone I have been feeling this for the last twee weeks now what the drop rates has gone down. This isn't just a post about "waaah I am not getting my stuff" or a dry "streak". Many people feel the difference and feel the same way. yes people will say it's RNG, but I remember that week i walked away rift after rift with legs. It's been two weeks for me personally with very sparse drops. | ||

Read the next link if you need to get something clarified. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/13020212508?page=6#119 There are indeed a few threads on this topic here on the EU forums as well, so I would like to repeat the following that was posted by Nevalistis in the post linked to above: We have investigated multiple times into drop rates to make sure they are working as they should. We have tested and retested. The results have come back consistently in each instance - drop rates are where they are supposed to be, and haven't been changed since the implementation of the Community Buff for the 2nd Anniversary. And also this: We do check and recheck things when community concerns are brought up or reports come in consistently. That's not the case here - rather, the occasional string of bad luck comes up and these types of posts come in waves. The reports we've received on drop rates are inconsistent, and our testing results and internal drop rate numbers contradict the suggested pattern. RNG, being inherently random in nature and definition, is something that's easy to mistake as working inconsistently. That's the nature of the beast. What I can do is reassure you that we've done everything we can (and more) on our end to make sure it's working the way it should. | ||

for me it seems like it has been ninja nerfed, though they can say what they wan't. Of course people are free to be skeptical (as long as they do not resort to spreading misinformation at the same time), it is after all understandable that things can feel different if your luck has changed for the worse. But I must repeat what has been said already, the drop rates haven't been changed since the implementation of the Community Buff for the 2nd Anniversary. Furthermore, there would be no benefit for us to nerf the drop rates without announcing it beforehand, as that would only result in a loss of trust and we have no interest in that. If we would at some point feel it necessary to lower the drop rates, then rest assured that we would let you know about it first. | ||
