| So, I've got something of an issue with cutscenes. As in, them not playing. I don't mean from the cinematics menu, I mean while in game. Yes, I've checked that the "skip cutscenes" thing is toggled off. Repeatedly. Today. It used to be it'd just skip the opening to act 1 (which is irritating, but something I can live with... somewhat), but last night it just skipped the act 2 ending and act 3 opening in one go. Now, maybe I'm being unreasonable, but if I tell the game I don't want it skipping cutscenes without my say-so, I expect it to not skip the blasted cutscenes, whether I'm seeing it for the first, second, or seventieth time. Madness, I know, but I like a bit of story with my loot lottery. | ||

| We understand PyroFennec, they are some awesome cutscenes. First, make sure that you're not still streaming the game client information and that it has fully downloaded in the Battle.net Desktop App. Run the app as Administrator too. If that doesn't work, please run a 'Scan and Repair' from the Desktop App's game options menu - this may take a few minutes and you may need to revert the skip cutscene option once more. If that doesn't work, could you find your "D3Prefs.txt" file and paste the contents below? If you're using Windows, it's commonly located in the Documents/Diablo III folder. Thanks! __________________________________ Please click here to give me your feedback on this post! Join us for a friendly match of Hearthstone, our fast-paced strategy card game! | OK. Make a backup of the D3Prefs.txt file and save it somewhere safe. Then edit the following lines: PlayedCutscene0 "31" PlayedCutscene1 "31" PlayedCutscene2 "23" PlayedCutscene3 "143" PlayedCutscene4 "159" to: PlayedCutscene0 "0" PlayedCutscene1 "0" PlayedCutscene2 "0" PlayedCutscene3 "0" PlayedCutscene4 "0" This will mean you won't be able to play the cinematics from the menu screen but it should force the game to play them so long as the skip option is not ticked. If that doesn't work, revert to the back-up and let us know. __________________________________ Please click here to give me your feedback on this post!
