| I'm sure the community will say I won't be missed, and that's one of the main reasons I'm leaving this community -- because it's toxic. After fifteen years, I'm moving to Path of Exile. I wish I could throw it all in your face by saying some stupid comment like "You lost a valuable member of your community today and you're never getting them back!" but the reality is that I'm not that kind of person, and even if I were, you never knew I existed in the first place. A player who has been loyal to you for fifteen years is just "out of sight and out of mind". That's where and what I am to you. I feel pretty good about leaving the community now though because I'm in your mind, and out of your sight. I can only hope that passionate fans like myself feel the pain of what you've done to one of the core aspects of Diablo and decide to move on, whether that be with or without your games. The simple thought of BoA itself enrages me to the point, where I've just had to step back and ask why you've decided to take the laziest approach to a simple problem that I've already solved right here and why you've not even bothered to take a look: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/10160956041?page=1 I'm not baiting for a blue response and I won't be checking back to see if there was one. I just wanted you (Blizzard) to know that some people like myself are so passionate about things, that they spend countless hours making sure they provide legitimate solutions to problems you've got. Watching them go unnoticed time after time, one by one, and watching troll threads rise to the top constantly isn't something I can withstand any longer. Because of BoA, and how it affects the core of Diablo that I remember the most, I sadly won't be playing DIablo any longer. I'm really heartbroken to see such an overly-dramatic attempt at destroying trading altogether. I was glad to see the auction house go, but I didn't feel that it merited to get rid of trading completely. It really, honestly felt like a half-thought-out plan. I feel that the changes you're making is making the entire game safer at the cost of my freedom of choice in-game. I remember Diablo being about choice, not restricting them. I wish Blizzard the best with their expansion. | ||

| Good luck with all your future gaming endeavors, acidrain. I'm definitely sad to see you leave the world of Sanctuary, but I'm 100% behind the idea that you should do what makes you most happy. Perhaps we'll see each other again sometime in the future. In the meantime, enjoy yourself and thanks for all the demon-slaughter and discussion you've afforded us over these past 15 years. :) | ||
