| Hello! This is my first time with Diablo 3 and I'm rolling a witch doctor, currently level 39 on Hell difficulty. I noticed everyone's talking about DPS and when they do it's always up in the hundreds of thousands. Before I looked at that my dps in normal mode was 300, maybe, and now it's 1739. Is that normal or should it be a lot higher? I'm killing the guys off pretty well but not enough to take on the master difficulty settings. Any advice about this subject/what I should be using or wearing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Will | ||

| As long as you're able to kill things before they tear you up then you're probably just fine. Character stats go up pretty quickly (sometimes down a little) as you progress through the game, but your damage depends heavily on how lucky you are with finding items. If you're finding the game suddenly gets tough (without changing the difficulty) then it might be a good idea to go back to the previous area and find some item upgrades, or crafting materials.
