Greets,
Since today's maintenance, the game starts to disconnect me from Battlenet while playing, about every 10 to 20 minutes, which makes it pretty much impossible to play, esp. on HC.
I've never had any Issues before.
Anyone else experiencing the same crap?

Hey guys,

We're seeing a slow but steady stream of similar reports here, on Twitter and in our ticket queues. I just tested it myself and didn't have any issues so we need to see if there's a pattern to this.

If you're currently experiencing regular disconnections in Diablo III, could you post below with the following information:

  • Country
  • ISP
  • Connection type (Wi-Fi, ethernet etc.)
  • What you were doing at the time of the disconnections.

If we need any more information, we'll let you know.

OK, I've changed the list of details we need from you guys in order to investigate:

  • Country
  • ISP
  • What you were doing at time of disconnection
  • Was there an error message at all and, if so, what did it say?
  • A traceroute taken right after the disconnection

I went through live chat, and they told me to delete the battlenet folder in program data, lets see if this helps..

Please let us know how it goes. While the chances of this being client-based are pretty low, it may also be worth trying a scan and repair through the Battle.net Desktop App.

Hey Psych.

Exit the game, go to the Desktop App and select Diablo III. There should be an 'Options' drop-down menu and from there you can select 'Scan and Repair'. =)

Thanks a lot for trying but we don't have anything for you right now other than the obvious, restart computer and router. Try wired connection if currently using Wi-Fi and disable all anti-virus and security programs.

Another brief update for you, this has now been escalated to the development team for further investigation. Due to time-zone differences our updates may be a little delayed but we'll do our best to keep you posted on the situation. Once again I'd like to echo the possible workaround of leaving all general/trade/public/class etc. chat channels in the game to see if it improves matters for you.
