| Hello all, I am hoping that someone has a solution that I've not been able to find yet. Randomly when playing the game I will get a Sound Loop in which sometimes I can still keep playing for a little bit, but usually it's simultaneously combined with a video freeze. I can't do anything at this point but wait. I can't even alt-tab or hit the start button to get to any other programs. I've even had it do it at the character creation screen. There seems to be no rhyme or reason behind it. Also this was happening before the recent Rift bug. I've had that happen & it's not the same. It's been happening since I started playing again a few weeks ago. I've updated my video, chipset and sound drivers. I've disabled the onboard sound in the BIOS which I don't use. I've set the affinity on the Diablo 3 process to use only 2 cores. I've reinstalled my entire OS. Anyone have any ideas what may be causing this? | ||

| Hi there TehMoustache. Have you tried troubleshooting through the in-game Sound Options? Specifically, 'Sound Channels' and 'Speaker Setup'.
