| As the title says, I cannot go windowed fullscreen, or windowed. When I start the game, it starts in fullscreen. When I go to change it, the screen turns black for the time allowed to confirm the change. Then when it gets back to the fullscreen, I can't alt tab or the screen turns black and I can't see anything but my mouse, even the menu that lets me alt tab, or when I press ctrl+alt+del. If I tab back in, the screen stays black, and I have to restart my computer. | ||

| Kairik, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? | Kairik, What make and model display device are you using? Dxdiag isn't reporting that information which is usually due to the device not handshaking properly. | Kairik, What's the make and model number? I need to try and find the user manual for it. Using an HDTV as a display device isn't really something we offer support for in our games but I've always been able to get them to work, more or less. Often though, you need to connect to them via a specific method as described in the user manual. | Kairik, Ok, that works. According to the manufacturer, you'd want to use the VGA port on the back of the TV. You can get cables that connect VGA to VGA/DVI easily enough. They aren't recommending using HDMI though. Once connected that way, you'd need to change the input source on the TV to match. 1920 x 1080 is supported when connected to a PC.
