what's the occasion? No particular occasion other than to celebrate that Malthael has now been slain by more than 1500000 players, so besides that the occasion is "just because..." I guess ;-) Also, the pre-launch XP bonus was quite popular and after it ended we got a lot of feedback from people who asked us to do these kind of XP bonuses again occasionally, so here we are with a post-launch XP bonus weekend :-) | ||

Brilliant, XP buff, people log to play especially and the lag starts. Seriously, guys, don't do something like this unless you can pull it off. I'd rather have no XP buff but be able to play. Our network and hardware has been improved quite a bit in preparation for Reaper of Souls, so we should be able to cope just fine on our end, but I of course do know how frustrating it will be if the DDoS attacks on certain European internet service providers continue this weekend :-( | ||

Are NA servers getting this too? A lot of my friends are thinking that it is EU only and seeing this confusion in general chat too. In addition, if the US is getting it will it start when EU gets it? This XP bonus weekend will happen globally, but the bonus has been adjusted for the different time zones though, so the NA XP bonus weekend has not begun yet. | ||
