| Hi! I've tried for a few hours to run Diablo 2 on my new Windows 8.1 but i can't seem to get it working. I'm not an expert on how to make "old games to run on new os" but i've tried following: -I've always booted it as an administrator in the compability section i've done -Run it in diffrent compatibilities ex Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows XP etc etc... -Changed colour thingy to 16-bits (65536) colour -checked "inaktivate scaling at high DPI -Run this as administator -Use the resolution 640x480 (No one on the interwebz said this would work but i tried it with and without this function) I've also tried adding a -w to the shortcut to try and force it to window mode. to conclude, From what i've seen it should be able to run on windows 8.1 so I'm gonna keep trying but is there anyone out there who knows something else i can try? would be awesome. Gonna go to an ol school no interwebz lan party and D2 will be our main game! much love comunity peoplz! -Luz | ||
