| Dear all, How many bolts does a demon hunter carry, please allow me to answer this and more in this post. What you are about to read/watch is a Demon Hunter starter build that requires no special gear set and will allow you to farm up early torment with fast farming speed. I urge you all to look at the video guide for more in depth analysis on the build but if you wish to read instead, here is how everything works. VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZWahP31JHs&list=UUi4lw72qHjNwznCCD6RLiIQ BUILD:http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#bPQdOV!cbXS!YcbbYZ -------------------------------Sacred Hate--------------------------- Gearset: Lets get this one out of the way first. Aim to get 2.4 attacks per second with over 50% cc. Give priority to max discipline and hatred regen if you are to re-roll your weapons and selective armor pieces. More info can be found in the video about gear but as I mentioned earlier, no special gear is needed at all, such is the promise of this build Kridershot: If I may be so bold to say this, kridershot was the weapon made for this build. If you ever end up finding this item, use elemental arrow with cold arrow instead of entangling shot. The reason for this will be explained further in this post. Hatred Management: Hatred is the prime resource that allows a DH to nuke opponents from distance. The more hatred you have, the more DPS you deal. Entangling shot is used just for that reason as the rune justice is served allows you to generate 6 hatred per shot fired. Good ol' preparation with punishment helps you to convert excessive discipline to hatred and if you have over 50 discipline, you can do this twice. Multishot vs Cluster Arrow: Choices choices, but they all are very simple really. Use cluster arrow loaded for bear to annihilate tough enemies and multishot to clear rifts, cursed chests and large groups. A little secret here lies with mutishot supression fire, when you hit a group of enemies you can generate a maximum of 6 discipline. This means as long as you have enemies around you, DH can multishot indefinitely. Positioning: This is achieved through vault with tumble and entangling shot. Enemies are slowed around and if an enemy TPs on you, vault will take you away from their melee range. If you ae using steady aim, it will also proc if you get good at kiting, so keep vaulting! Passives: Night stalker and blood vengeance help you to fuel your resources that keep you alive and everyone else dead. Cull of the weak is the cornerstone of this build as every time you left click enemies with entangling shot, you proc the extra 20% damage taken by enemies. The final passive can be steady aim if you are good at kiting and running a templar or ambush to kill elites at an elevated rate. The almighty vengeance: Thanks to the rune for this skill, you generate 10 hatred so for starters, this is amazing. Activate this skill when you encounter rift bosses or tough elites. This in my humble opinion is the best DPS skill in the game so you can never go wrong with this one. A little side note here is about the activation of this skill. For the skill to proc more, you need to always keep attacking, whether that is from left click or right click attacks. End remarks: This build is centered on generating an spending tons of your resource pool. The more discipline you generate the more eliusive you become. If need be, this discipline can be converted to hatred to deal damage. Just remember to always save enough discipline for one vault when the odds overwhelm you. Such is our build of sacred hate. I was able to get to torment 2 with a mere 2 hours of DH gameplay so I wonder with right gear where can this DH go. Please leave your questions below and I will try my very best to answer them. Let the culling begin! Warm regards, Holy Hermit | ||
