Diablo III Patch 2.0.6 Coming on Tuesday

The patch is scheduled to go live on Tuesday, June 10, with client crash fixes

Get ready for another Diablo III patch, because the next one is on its way. Diablo III Patch 2.0.6 is scheduled for release this Tuesday, June 10. It includes client fixes for long-standing issues involving crashes when entering Nephalem Rifts, and possibly other bug fixes. Don't expect big game changes with the release of patch 2.0.6, as those are going to arrive in the major Patch 2.1.

Update Tuesday, June 10: The patch is out! See the changes and improvements in the Diablo III Patch 2.0.6 Patch Notes and Hotfixes.

Patch 2.0.6 is currently scheduled to arrive during the Tuesday maintenance, that is set to last for 8 hours, from 3AM to 11AM Pacific time.
We will be performing maintenance beginning on Tuesday, June 10th at 3:00 AM PDT and we expect the service to be available again at approximately 11:00 AM PDT. During this time the game and many web services will be unavailable.

Thank you for your patience.

The patch will bring fixes for ongoing client crashes, notably seen on certain Mac computers when a player tries to enter a Nephalem Rift. As noted in a blue post, this patch brings another round of fixes to try to squash that issue.
We have tentatively scheduled patch 2.0.6 to launch this Tuesday, June 10th. Our Mac Engineers have embedded a new round of fixes into this client, and would like your feedback. Following Tuesday's maintenance, we will create a new thread to gauge feedback and see how the patch affects players who have been crashing in the past. We're looking forward to your feedback!

There are other bugs that may be fixed in Patch 2.0.6, such as issues in the Patch 2.0.5 Known Issues List that cannot be fixed with hotfixes. This is likely to be a small patch, however, that does not make substantial game changes. We'll have the full Patch 2.0.6 patch notes and all the details when the patch goes live.

This will likely be the last client update in the Patch 2.0 line. The primary Diablo III development is focused on getting Patch 2.1 finished up enough to put it on the Public Test Realm, to test out the new features like Seasons and Tiered Rifts.
