|When a group vote kicks a player the expectation is that the kicked party cannot get back into that same group. |
For some reason I have seen, on numerous occasions, when we vote kick an undesirable, (leecher, town camper, AFK etc) they are able to que and get back in our group. No one invited them back...rinse and repeat.
The only reason I can see this happening is because the vote kick only removes the player from the group. It will not stop the player from queuing again and getting back in the same group from where they were kicked. Depending on which act the group is in, and if there are not a lot of players wanting to que for public games on a certain act or quest....I can see this happening.
Or it is a glitch.
I don't know how many others have experienced this (booting someone only to have them return again and again), but it is annoying.
I am not familiar with the specific in game mechanics server side but it would seem to me that a group of public players in a game will have some sort of session number or ID generated. Each Diablo game has a form or randomization that is unique for each game. I submit that if a player is vote kicked that they should not be able rejoin that particular game that was generated (where they were kicked from). In essence, the kicked player can que for another public game...just not the one he was removed from.

|Currently the vote kick system will remove a player from the group, but it does not prevent them that player from rejoining the same group. We realize this can be frustrating, and we’re working on an upcoming fix that should ensure that players who have been kicked from a group will no longer be matched with that same group.|
