Cosmetics are fine, EXP boosters are not.(1)Category: GeneralFebruary-21-2015 7:29 AM PST (9 years ago) Go to Blizzard forum post
I understand that this isn't coming to the Americans (yet) but I think it eventually will make its way here simply because it's a money-making scheme that has shoved its way near the top of the developement list.

That said, I'm okay with cosmetics like transmog and pets. That is perfectly fine with me.

What isn't, are things like EXP boosters that'll effect Paragon leveling which is a very good measurement of time commitment and character power. It's essentially pay-2-win with EXP boosters because there will be people who buy them so often that they have the effect permanently which over time will give a massive advantage to those who've continually bought them vs people who have never bought any.

At first, it won't make much difference but looking 1-2 years down the road.. that is probably a thousand or more Paragon levels if you took two people who played the same amount and one never bought any while the other always had them.

No matter what way you look at it, it's an unfair advantage. Don't do it unless you plan on making EXP boosters only work for levels 1-69.
